Since making his spectacular debut on Kendrick Lamar's song "Love" off the revolutionary DAMN. Singer Zacari has been TDE's go-to R&B vocalist, and she has been killing it. He most recently worked with Blxst on the uplifting hit "Sometimes" off Blxst's most recent Before You Go album, and just last week he unveiled the new song "Bliss," which includes Isaiah Rashad, another TDE singer. The song, which is the duo's first original since last year's Sol EP, is a vibed-out procession around the sun. As Zacari and Rashad express their untouchability in the video created by Dylan Corral and Connor Grassoas, themes of fast vehicles, ladies, and a dimly lit desert sunset sky all play a part. I talk to God, howl at the moon, and I'm a Top Dawg if there's a problem. As fast wheels weave around the two, Zacari sings, "Howl at the Sun and I saw a seven, seven, seven, giant steppin' up the staircase to Heaven." It's possible that the high-profile collaboration means the Bakersfield native has a new project in the works. Rashad is scheduled to headline the Afropunk Festival in Brooklyn later this year, along with Burna Boy and The Roots, and he recently participated in a highly publicized interview on The Joe Budden Podcast to discuss his sex video leak.
