Vic Mensa is back with a fresh new visual for his latest release called "Blue Eyes" which is from his upcoming album called Victor. In the new song and visual it finds Vic Mensa considering how racism and colorism affected his childhood as a young child growing up in Chicago and how he eventually learned to accept himself and his culture. Vic states that "This album is a story of redemption; trial and triumph, pain and glory,". It recounts his journey into spirituality, in which his return to Chicago, and return to Ghana, gives him a rediscovery of who he is as a person. The brand new track is Mensa's sophomore follow-up to 2017's The Autobiography, which debuted at No. 27 on the Billboard 200. Victor, which is set to be released on September 15th, is timed to coincide with the release of the new tune.
