If you’re looking for a soulful, ambitious and talented young lyricist I would like to introduce to you Travis Thompson. Thompson is able to lay a canvas and fill it full of color by the time one of his tracks end. If you deny his story you deny his come-up, growing up he would attend many shows in his hometown of Burien, Washington. Travis’ story is inspiring, a young boy who did it all himself. He broke onto the scene when he eventually toured with Macklemore and ever since Travis has been growing. His most recent release was his project Reckless Endangerment back in 2019. The album was well received by fans and new listeners alike. “Crossfaded” has grown on me each time I listen. This is his first single off of his next project THE BLVD BOY. Travis is going through it, struggling with loving himself and afraid that he is running out of time. Having constant arguments with his significant other. She doesn’t like that Travis drinks and does drugs but it is the new norm. I absolutely love this visual and the edits throughout.
