22 year old Chicago up and coming rapper name PrinceExotic, has returned with a brand new music video called "PAISA PAISA". Over the years Ive had the pleasure of getting to know Prince and talking with him about his music and what inspires him to be the artist that he is today and I can truly say I'm am so proud to see Prince truly step into a new creative light. Not only showcasing a combination of his Indian roots with American culture but also taking us on a journey to his home country to get the full experience on a international level which truly shows the young emcee's star power. Prince is the first underground artist from the United States (Chicago) to shoot a Telugu music video in Hyderabad, South India. By doing so, PRINCEXOTIC elevated himself from underground to worldwide status by being able to combine and connect the two cultures together and showcasing that through his music.
Prince has established himself as a pioneer in the Telugu rap industry, placing his home language on the map and challenging North Indian rappers while also in the process. From the upbeat tempo and rhythmic delivery, Prince creates an energetic atmosphere, emphasizing the song's focus on money, pleasure, and desirability. The visual is shot in one of the busiest and main tourist attractions in Hyderabad, "Charminar," along with "Telugu Thalli Flyover" and "Domalguda Basti", this video encompasses the aura and energy of the historical city. To add, this video highlights the Telugu underground rap scene for the pan-India mainstream competition. From Chicago to India , Prince is definitely making a name for himself and pushing the message to all his fans and supporters, that no matter what you look like or where you come from anyone that dreams and work hard /put there mind to it can truly live out there dreams and goals.
