Nardo released his album at the end of last year, following the platinum success of his single "Who Want Smoke?" On the project, 21 Savage, Lil Durk, G Herbo, BIG30, and Lakeyah joined the 20-year-old Jacksonville rapper. He received backlash shortly after the album's release when he claimed that he used to steal people before signing with a major company. He clarified his remarks in a since-deleted message, making it clear that he wasn't attempting to make his prior lifestyle look "cool." Following the uproar, DJ Akademiks stated that he has wanted to rap since he was 14 years old but has never had the financial means to do it. "I knew I wanted to rap even before I started." Since the age of 14, Nardo wanted to rap but he just lacked the time and financial resources to do so. The rapper is joined by two colleagues in the video for the tune, which is taken from Nardo's recent breakout album, Who Is Nardo Wick?, as they pull off a daring robbery. Future begins the video by rapping into a mirror, until Nardo's first verse transforms the song to a more confrontational tone. He spends his time in a smoke-filled chamber, while Lil Baby and his accomplice make off with a large sum of money.
