I swear when it comes to the chicago music scene, everyday theres a new artists emerging to the surface with some fresh new talent with music that literally will have you blown away. Cracking the glass and adding her name to the list of new chicago artists, i came across this talented singer that goes by the name of "Muhva". Muhva is a 21 year old south side native that truly has a fresh voice that will grab your attention soon as she begins to sing because of how beautiful and clam her voice is. The "I Like Lonely" music video was inspired by the the academy award winning movie "Dream Girls" during the part where Beyonce is singing Listen. Its a montage of her working so hard and not giving up on her dreams especially because of the relationship in the movie that she had with Curtis. Off her brand new Ep called "AutoPilot" the music describes a state of mind in which one acts without conscious intention or awareness og the present moment. Also, from watching the video it really gave me a great way of saying that it is ok to sometimes take time for yourself and regroup and focus on yourself, your goals and just overall mental health. Keep up with the Muhva as she continues to work hard and make her mark here in chicago with more amazing music to come in the future.
