In the truffles music video, I love how Mick Jenkins taps into some of the most popular movies such as "Friday" and the movie "Get Out" for inspiration showcasing the rapper to be living in this "suburban nightmare" that seems to never end. With Micks smooth storytelling rhymes in this video, he really showcases how there is a negative perception of how African Americans are treated here in America and how the suburban areas always have shown over time how racism still exists. The chicago native is truly up to something big i feel with music coming soon as he might be gearing up for hopefully a future album drop.
