2023 has already been off to an amazing start here in the Chicago music scene, with so many artist emerging dropping new music like these two artists that go by the name of "Cldwaterr & Mugen! The Human. Both artists are apart of a Chicago music collective that goes by "MP3DOTCOME" that has been on a mission throughout the city and other states to make there voices heard all around. Cldwaterr's music is for the ones that enjoy a more chill laid-back sound and MUGEN!’s is known for his musical versatility as well as his sometimes melancholic but always clever lyrical performances. Cldwaterr and Mugen, who are constantly spreading positive vibes through there music, explains how they are simply happy to be alive and how they have God on their side when it comes to their story and hustle over the past couple of years as emcees.
The video "LOSE!" was literally simply a discussion of topic about multiple songs between the artist in a session with a few members of there group, and after going back and forth sharing ideas, they put up the VERY rough version of "LOSE!" and Mugen! immediately wanted parts in it. Cldwaterr stated that in the moment the song "didn't have a hook at the time, and his verse wasn't even entirely recorded, but he felt it was something they had to finish. With an amazing collaboration between the two, There collective is truly headed to the top and will soon be the face of the new wave of hip-hop coming out of the city of Chicago, So keep your eyes on these amazing artist as they take over 2023.
