Junoflo is back with a new music video for his recent single he released called "Sweatpants". Junoflo began his musical career in his birthplace of Los Angeles, CA, gaining him great acclaim and admiration from both local and worldwide fans. Juno, who began playing the piano at an early age, has drawn substantial influence from jazz and hip-hop, leading to the release of multiple mixtapes beginning in 2010. Juno packed his belongings and relocated to South Korea in 2016, signing with label Feel Ghood Music to create an EP (Only Human) and full-length album (STATUES), featuring notable Korean artist appearances like Drunken Tiger, Dok2, Jay Park, BoA, and Yoonmirae. "It's crazy," he recalls, "that record carried me and the homies around the world to tour." STATUES was Junoflo's creative endeavor to demonstrate his ability in both producing and rapping in the Korean and American hip-hop scenes, which he accomplished admirably, effortlessly combining two languages.
Junoflo's latest record, 222:AM, demonstrates a musical progression as he returns home as an independent artist. This project's acoustic environment was inspired by many hours spent traveling through the hectic cities of Seoul and Los Angeles. "That is really essential to me." "Music for cruising," he says, "and this one is a little darker." So please understand that it is coming from a more intimate place." While the music is somber and ethereal, 222:AM has a future yet nostalgic vibe to it, thanks to wavy synthesizers, piano melodies over hard pounding 808's, and layers of contemplative flows that depict his experiences.
