Joel Q is a hip-hop artist that has been apart of the Chicago music scene for more than a decade and continues to make a name for himself through the honesty and compassion he brings when he is creating music. Joel's first grade teacher exposed him to poetry when he was six years old, and he started composing short poems after that. When he was eight, he started rapping, which is when he realized he had a talent for writing. Joel understood the power of expressing life, which he employs in his music to influence the minds of millions, while being surrounded by the harsh reality of Chicago's Southside. Joel has now produced other projects, singles, and has had well-known figures like Sway from "Sway In The Morning" and Dreamville co-sign his work. The latest song/video called "Perfect Season" is the intro to Joel's next project which is the 2nd installment to Trophy Room. Joel Q wants to start the rollout and journey towards his new album by putting them first aesthetically and musically after taking a vacation from social media for six months to focus on himself and his family.
